ya it is a bummer that it has less suspension and a lower sear height than the yfz. It has a taller seat than the 400ex. Anyway I was hoping for an aluminum frame and DOHC. Guess my expectations were just a little too high. Still might outperform the yfz, just too early to see. I hope to God magazines get their bikes to test before Januaray.

I'm well, underwhelmed by the new quad. It's cool that it is $400 less than the Yamaha, but I don't see it blowing away the YZF450. I had little hope but now that its clear that it has no reverse, I don't want one anyway. Looks like it will be a Z-400 for me.

I guess it would be hard for Honda to really live up to a years worth of hype. Now I wonder just what the future holds for the lame *** 400EX?

the advantage of a dual cam is hi-rev overlap capabilities.

449.69867cc according to the formula I know, for the honda and 439.47057cc for the yfz. That does make some difference, say if you want to race legally in the 250 class. Thered be nothing like spending $6,500 then tearing it apart to de-stroke it.
