After seeing the 450r I'm wondering what you guys think, would I be better off keeping the 15 year old 250r or selling it and getting the new 450r.

If i had that 4wheeler and you offered to hand me 2000$ all you would get is the ELKA suspension. Thats a nice quad you got there in your pics.

Personally, I wouldn't part with my 250R for anything. It has been almost 15 years since their production and they are still the quad that all others are compaired to. Let's hope that the new 450 can uphold this reputation. But, if you would like to sell your R or that 330 cylinder let me know. I'll be in your neighborhood next weekend.

 

That 450 engine in the CRF kills the newer 250 engines in the bikes, I see no reason why this 450R won't out perform a 2stroke engine from the 80's. Handling wise, it's up for grabs right now, it will ultimately come to down to the handling between the 2 machines.

 

No dont sell it.. just buy your R a little brother.
