I have a 2002 400EX that is in excellent mechanical condition, the only thing cosmetic wise is the plastic is scratched up.
It has full big gun exhaust, pro peg nerf bars, holeshots in front with 96% tread, razrs in back with 90% tread, FMF 909 bars, K&N filter, new rear brake pads, new axle bearings and a Jaws bumper...what do you think would be a fair price for me to sell this? Or what would you pay for it if you were a potential buyer?

 

I would pay around $3500.if I was interested in that quad. I've seen ads for around $4000 (2002). New 2003's were selling for between $4500.-$4900 OTD. a couple months ago. As the year goes on the 2003's will be selling for less.

i think RIGHT now you could get 4000-4500, pick up a cycle trader and look and then put yours in there for about or less price.

I am with Coyotechaser on the price. List it on ebay with a minimum price of $3,500 and see how you do. The only add-ons that count are the exhaust, pro peg nerfs, and the bars. To be honest though, it is like installingan inground pool at your house. It does very little to increase the value.

I just had a friend buy a 2003 400ex for $4,500 out the door. A 2004 was $5,000.
