?XR650 into 400EX
Atkins:: I have only been involved with quads for about 8 months here in the UK and in that short period i have seen how much more popular they are getting, at the British Quad Champioship is helping things get well under way, but the only thing is that most of the people doing the bitish champioship are spending between $15000 - $20000 on their bikes, so it is well out of my range. on top of that they also run a british Enduro Championship which a cheaper thing to get involved with people only spending upto $10000 - $15000 on their bikes.
Mike:: Thanks for the offer, but i am handy with a welder myself so i would have a go this side of the water..

Atkins-That was an (old!) 600 engine in that 300EX.
I am interested in a desert machine. The XR650 has won so many desert races, nobody can keep count! So, I was hoping Honda would release a 650EX. BUT, on second thought, with these modern engines, you can "do more with less". Why have a big heavy big bore, when you can do the job with a light little high revvvvving 450???? Time will tell.
