I own a Yamaha blaster and i wanted to know by either a banshee or 400ex this december I was wondering wut everyone elses thoughts are? Im 5"10 and 155 pounds. and wuts the weight limit on eahc of these bikes?

 

What type of riding do you do? 400ex is a great trail, and track quad, and in my opinion great all around quad. The Banshee has greater power and is noted as the best quad for sand.

Keep in mind also the 400ex is more reliable, electric start is also nice. Usually when I go riding I like to go long distance, therefore a 4-stroke is the way to go for me due to better gas mileage.

It's been said before on this forum - It's what you like. With all the sport quads available I would not limit yourself to just two. Buy the one that feels the best and will suit your needs.

 

ex hands down. Banshees are great for straight line drags, and such and have unlimited possibilities for speed. I use to think I had to get a banshee cuz' they're so fast, but the pros of the ex dominate the banshee (reliability, suspension, jumping, tricks, trail, maintenence, more comftorable, low end, funner, go everywhere). Dont get me wrong banshees are great, but really doesnt sound like it would be good for you.

 

i own a 2003 banshee right now andit is for sale. im selling it to get a 400ex don't get me wrong i love my banshee but it's jus good for rode riding, drag and sand.

But I would opt for a 4 stroke more reliable and easier on maintenence.

 

I have a 2003 400EX, i just got it, and its plenty powerfull, i was used to my 250x, and i hit a lil jump and knocked my self out, almost broke my back, and i got a black eye, while in full protective gear... in my opinion, the 400ex is plenty fast, and it seems really light and easy to jump, if you know how to control that much power, becarful the first time you ride your new quad, a blaster to a 400ex, or banshee, is a big jump up, either of those would dominate the blaster hands down... if you didnt already know that lol.
