On the shootout with the vforce,ds650 and the raptor, they said the vforce had NO engine braking, lofl, i felt like somebody slammed the brakes when i let off the gas on my friends, i think there might have been something wrong with that kfx or something, but they put a couple heavy machines up against a light raptor, i dont know where they figured that out, maybe they just wanted to make an intresting shootout, who knows.

dirtwheels, I hear a lot of bad things said about it on this sight but I still think it gives us fair comparisons and good publicity to our sport!

I currently receive Dirt Wheels, AtV Action and ATV Sport. They all have their flaws. My biggest pet peeve is the occasional lack of accurate info. Sometimes they will take shortcuts and use pics or info from previous articles. Here's an example: Nov. issue of DW has the retail price of the 2004 250ex at the 2003 price instead of it's new price of $3499. People look to these magazines for accurate info to help them purchase expensive toys. It would be nice if they actually would provide accurate info. Sometimes it might be because a change was made after the magazine has gone to press. Most of the time I think they are just taking shortcuts. I guess I really don't have a favorite atv magazine.

Which quad do you think won a shootout in the Nov. 2003 issue of DW? 250ex or Z250?

Sometimes there can be differing interpretations between an article author, and say their editor, or publisher. You know the drill when you start a saying on one end of a line, then catch what's left of it on the other. Perfect accuracy would be a beautiful thing though. To keep the arena friendly for our ever growing female riding population, you'd probably also better consider a Playgirl atv issue. Ah yes, that Huevos 5 intro.....women look good in riding gear.
