Ok, i dont want to start a bunch of arguments. Im just wondering what is the average top speed.

i've hard 67-68 a lot. does ne body know where i can get a radar gun to check the speeds of me and my friends? i'm not lookin for something really expensive or big.

 

well, first, i ran 2 tanks of gas out of mine before i ran it to hard, so it would break in good, then one of my buddies clocked me through a big stretch in a dodge stealth and i was runnin 72 mph....

i dont think the top speeds in all the magazines are accurate IMO

 

well unless your ex is modded i dought you went 72 unless you were getting pulled by stealth or going down hill

 

the banshee has a top speed of like 73, and i don't know ne stock 400EX that can beat a stock banshee. the average top speed of a 400EX is in the high 60's.

 

i remember when they tested the EX against the banshee when it first came out they said the ex ran 64 and the banshee 68. You cant pay much attention to the speeds in the magazines but the speed difference between 2 quads in usually pretty accurate and i do believe that a banshee will outrun an ex by every bit of 4 mph's. Id say the ex runs about 65-67 depending on different situations.
