your 440 is basically the same set up as my wifes except she runs a fmf q muffler and header and we have tried many different mains and we have settled on a 175.i would think that with the stock exhaust that you would probably need a 160 or possibly a 165.our jetting is set up for sea level so yours may be different in that regard, also we have also found that a mixture of 1 gallon of 110 octane race fuel mixed with 4 gallons of 92 premium pump gas works very well with the 11:1 compression and a midrange cam so you may want to try that combination.these are just my opinions, but you did ask.good luck

i am running a similar setup as you but my compression is a little higher but i am only running a 406. i also have a full exhaust. i have been trying to figure this out for a while since i am really particular on jetting. i tried a 165 first and the bike ran good. i put in a 162 and the bike was better. i put in a 160 and that was the best of the 3. now, i jet my bikes for best performance. i know you don't want to be lean. some people put in 175's or so and i know their bikes would be faster with the smaller jets. most just don't want to run lean so they put a bigger jet in where the plug looks like a nice tan or brown color. the rich setting will make the bike run cooler. i am just telling you a smaller jet will make your bike be faster to an extent. i was recommended running a 155 with my setup but i am going to put in a 158 to be on the safe side. good luck

i say a 155 or 158 main at biggest. bigger doesn't mean better unless you need it. use keihin jets. we have a keihin carb. the dynojets numbering is different and you will have to pay for the whole kit. just get the individual jets.
