Default Spindles and A arms

I got a question. Will 400ex spindles fit on 250r a arms? I heard they will and they wont. And what about 250x spindles? Will they fit also? Thanks!

I believe in order to switch spindles you need to switch to the a-arms used with the spindle. I know EX & R a-arms are very similar, but the subtle differences in spindle setup results in less than adequate steering characteristics. Don't quote me, but you may want to call TBR Products in the vendors forums or ask the question there, they should have the answer.

400ex a-arms do not fit an R. If you get the spindes you will need to get the hubs and calipers along with them. i tried to do this when I needed new spindles, I heard that they did so i got them only to find that the hub will slide in but is hard to turn and the brakes do not mount up. You can buy a mounting kit though for about $200! too much for 1lb of metal if u ask me.
