Should still be 26. Only with the K&N you lost 2/3 of the life of your motor.

I don't agree with that if you use the outerwear and always clean and oil the filter after EVERY ride.

your probably not going to notice much difference. I have disagree on that one also. How would putting a higher quality filter on your quad take away from its life expectency? Like fast440 said if you take care of it and oil it properly it wont take away from your motors life

Default 400EX hp with a k&n filter

K&N with stock jetting, air box lid in place with a stock pipe. You won't notice a difference besides for cleaning.

K&N jetted, cut or no lid, with a free flowing exhaust. You feel a seat of your pants difference.
