I recently bought back my old 426 and after riding a liquid cooled quad for so long, the hot engine really bugs me so I'm concidering the oil cooler too. My best friend had one on his 440 and it worked GREAT! I might see if I can get an auto transmission cooler to work instead. It would be bigger and cheaper. Not enough people even know about the FST cooler, and most would be too scared to install one since you need to tapp into the head and all. Nice rides.

The FST cooler really is an excelent mod for this machine.

I allways look into saving some $$$ and have found some good units at JEGS. They specialize in performance and racing auto stuff and have a large line of diff oil and trans fluid coolers all priced very well.

For now it looks like the custom lines (I dont like the BS cheapo rubber ones) will prob be as much or more than the cooler itself.

Yes the cooler really does work awsome and keep the temp down.

Ditch the Predator cause it's not a rock solid as a Honda (reliablity wise) but the 04's are improved 90% over the 03's. Main reason why though is the Honda is 62lbs dry weight less.
