i have a 400ex 03 just bought new and when i rev it i can hearsomething in the motor not a cling or anything do u guy have this i don't really know how to explain the bike is stock

 

youd have to explain it better but either way youd prob have better luck in the honda forum.

 

is it broken in yet???? might b a loose bolt somwhere or soemthing maybe it has no OIL!!!!! lol that would b funny...

 

if there was no oil, lol, you wouldn't even have time to listen for a noise, ur quad would lock up in 5 minutes, especially so, if ur quad is revving high, maybe there is just something loose i have no idea, you have to be more specific!!,,, it could be a loose throttle cable or what ever,,, alot of new quads come with a loose nut or bolt or sometbhing, they all have flaws, and if there isn't anything loose then your lucky

Does it tick, clank, thump or squeak etc. You have to be able to listen to it and describe the sound better and try to figure if it seems to be in time with the rpms etc.
