Default Honda 300ex

Well i have a 300ex im about to sell now to help pay for the raptor, and i have a couple questions. I took off all the fenders fixed the oil leak, had valves adjusted, and lost quite a few of the screws so tomorrow im going to pick up more screws, and a new battery. Well there is one problem with it right now, the timming belt is broken and it makes a click click click sound (like the valves are off but there not). So im wondering how mutch do you think i could get out of it w/o fixing the problem or would it be smarter to fix it?
It has:
Full supper trapp exhaust
Uni Filter
Re jetted
New bumper, handle bars, and rear fender

with it fixed how mutch do you think i could get out of it, compared to not having that problem fixed?

Take the engine apart, then put it back together then remove th motor then put it back in and dissassemble the exhaust and buy a new starter because this is what make your engine move then check for little rocks in your cylinder because they would make a ticking noise. If it doesn't work then, I don't know what would.

.... rocks in the clyinder would be a lot differnt than that, and i dont really know how i would have got a rock in the cylinder, considering i havent road on rocks, just mud and asphalt and grass.... but i had a mechanic look at it and he said thats the problem

this is the same guy that said to check your exhaust pipe if your quad isnt charging and yeah, i said to put pudding in the tires but that was only a joke

anyways: i would suggest fixing the problem before selling, people who but 300ex's are usually novices and dont know a whole lot about engines and such, they just want a quad that is reliable and ready to ride
