I hear you don't have to resleeve the 426. That would make it easier and cheaper. A lot of people on here seem to be very happy with theirs. I have the 440 and can tell you that if you don't mind spending more it is a very nice thing to have

i would also say the 416 since the sleeve is too thin and has a possibility of breaking with the 426. i am actually running a 406 and the power increase was dramatic. i am using a stage 2 hotcam with it. you will get more top end out of this. by doing this, you not have enough power to play with the gearing for more top speed if thats what you prefer. i am running 16/36 compared to the stock 15/38 so i get more top speed. it runs really strong.
