I got word that the Honda will ship on Nov. 20. I should be getting one in a few weeks!

I just called my dealer today, in fact 2 mins. ago:
First 450R has no ship date yet, SUSPECTED delivery date is mid January.
I hope Warrior1 is right.
I fear I am.

 

2 dealers near me say the same...mid-January. On top of that, did you notice Honda's ad (stating December release) for the 450R was not in the last month's issue of any of the mags. SIGH.

I think I am in the same boat as you. My 416 sold the first day I listed it. I guess I should have asked for more.
Honda's website now says January too.

Very first day it appeared in the WantAd, bang. I got the lowest amount I would accept for it, so I'm ok with that. It's still in the WantAd, and I haven't received another phone call since then, so I'm so glad I went ahead and sold it. Took my friend 8 months to sell his 400 last year, and with the new 400EX having a bigger carb and lower price, and certainly reverse will show up on 400EXs soon.....it would be wise to sell now, if you plan on selling. The value of older 400EX's is going to drop rapidly.

Honda's website has said January all along.

I heard mid January as well.

 

I was told by my dealer it should be here the 2nd week in Dec. I will keep you posted.
