Default 2003 vs 2004 400ex

I was wondering if there is any differences between the 03 and the 04 400ex. Someone mentioned that the Carb may be bigger, but is that it? I am going to buy a new 400ex after the first of the year so any information would be helpful. Also Anyone know where i can get more detailed specs on this bike. Honda really doesn't have much information for a company that wants to sell you something.Anyone have any movies/Pics online i can view.

Thanks!

the 04' 400ex has a 2 mm bigger carb on it than the 03', if i were you, i would definately grab the 04 model. the carb should give some noticable power.

I have an 03 and my cousin has an 04. The carb on the 04 is about 2mm bigger and the only other thing is the sticker is different on the tank......From what I've seen and read, nothing else changed........

I've heard that the carb specs were a misprint, and that it has the same exact carb. Am I wrong?

I have heard the carb is for real and it bumped the 400 up to 30hp. Heard it from this forum somewhere.

What would you say if you heard that the 2004 400ex is actually a twin cylinder (with 400cc on each cylinder) from this forum?

Anyways, don't always believe everything you read. But the question asked was "who would win in a race, the '03 or '04?".
