How many of you would buy a new 250r if honda made a new one?"

I read in one of the magz the casts were sold to a Taiwanese company. I know, why doesn't the Taiwanese company make the 250R? I don't know.
As far as the manufacturers not wanting to build 2-stroke ATV's because of environmental or legal issues, it doesn't make any sense. Honda doesn't seem to have much problem selling the CR line. They are closed course racers, just like the 250R. I wonder how many people race 250R's in the world? I bet you would sell 1 250R for every racer out there.
I'm not including the duner's or hard-core trail riders in this conversation for a reason. They are the probably the reason Honda won't sell the 250R. For every one 250R that becomes a racer, it's designed purpose,
10 would end up a trail bike or a duner. What's the fix? Put TCS / PEP "type" shocks on it and charge $7995. This would keep the average guy from buying it. If I was Suzuki I'd re-introduce the Quadracer so fast Honda's head would spin clean-off!

This is my point , every one rides one ,an alot wants one, I know they would sell, the market is ripe.Over the last three years are sport has exploded/thats a great thing every one is so excited about the new stuff.I been riding since 88 an I still have my first wheeler ,with a little maintaince you can keep them running along time.I bought a 400ex just because I needed a new machine too ,when you go 75 0r 80 miles on a long trip in the desert you need to not have to walk to you rig. Well this seems to be a great topic I hope we can keep it going.

I would buy one, and then I would sell my truck/trailer/TV/PC/wife/firstborn for another.
Looks like Kawasaki might be the one to watch right now, if they stick their neck out and produce a 2-stroke, I would see Honda doing the same VERY quickly. I don't think Honda really cares about the big-bore/duner market, so they look the other way when it comes to Banshees, Raptors, and DS650's.
