Default Z400 doing 86???

My friend at work has been wanting to race me since I've been hopping up my 400ex. He said, hehe, that a cop friend of his clocked him doing 86. It's an 02 model Z400. He said he put on a little box that lets him tach all the way up to 12,000 rpm's. He has no other mods that I know of.

well it it totaly possible that a cop would say it was that fast. I guess the cop probly doesnt know how to work his radar or it is off just a bit. Although your friend might have the numbers backwards 68 might be more realistic.

It is possible with some modifications but I doubt it with just a new cdi.

There are no 02' Z400's.
It was probably the same cop and radar that clocked me going 83 in a 50.

Well, whatever year it is, he bought at the end of 2002, it might be an 03 model. We'll see how fast it can go this weekend when I race him. Wish me luck
