Default 250EX Parts?

I hate to be the one to break this to you but, honestly, it's not even worth it to put a lot of money into a 250EX, i know from experience. I have one and i put a graydon proline exhaust system and a k&n air filter on it an thats all i plan on doing. No matter how much money you put into that bike, it won't be a good race bike. If you truely wanted it to be worthy of racing then you would have to upgrade or replace almost everything on it. I've heard of the the manual clutch kits for the 250EX an i was even going to get on but i thought about it and decided it wasn't worth it. For any engine performance upgrades check out this site Powroll. Don't get me wrong, the 250EX is a good bike and is very dependable but once you outgrow it it doesn't even seem fun to ride anymore. Save your money, sell the 250EX and put that money towards something like a 300EX, Z-400, or 400EX (whatever fits you best). Good luck man

Sounds good. I was just trying to save you the grief of modifying a 250EX. I'm planning on getting 450R once i save up enough money for a down payment. Until then i'm stuck on an '01 XR200 that i just recently rebuilt the engine on.

Big Bore?? Is there a limit for going WOT wit a bigbore?? I go WOT for alot and i don't want to worry about
seizing it... Is this a possibilty?
BTW: Are VENTED VALVE CAP'S worth the money... how much of a performace gain?

oh, well i'm not sure about riding WOT with a big bore kit. I usually don't WOT for long periods of time because it just seems like it's gonna mess the engine up. I don't think that it would be different with a bore kit, but it might be with a stroker kit. I heard that a bore kit isn't worth it for the 250EX because you will just hit the rev limiter right away with the added performance. I've always wondered about those vented valve caps and they seem like they would add some perfomance but not very much.
