Default R counterbalancer question??

I have a pic in my gallery of my counterbalancer where I have appearantly run with the some bad bearings for a little while. My question is, is my counterbalancer still useable? Or what are my options? I am getting new cases. The only thing wrong I can see with the balancer is the grooves wore in the shaft, but that should be a problem right?

And what would I look for on my crank to see if anything is bad on it? This is my first bottem end rebuild, and I want to do it right. I have a Clymers manual, and a couple of friends that can help with the rebuild.

I am planning on replacing all bearings in the entire motor because dont want to chance any metal shavings from this last escapade.

Thanks in advance.
