why would you waste money on a 250ex? I bought a 2003 400ex used less than a year in just about perf. condition for the same price as a 250.

I just installed my LTE dual exhaust with custom end caps. Check out the pics on my pics page here on the forum. I took it out this weekend after installing several mods and was quite impressed with the pipe and the flow.

I noticed there was a lot more snap in the low to mid range area, the thing just pulls very hard. I think for what you get it's worth the money. The only problem so far is the left side header melted the rear plastic like 250r's like to do with old maier plastics. It seems fullbore didn't take clearance issues for a dual exhaust into consideration in their design. LOL Marky, I'd suggest putting some heat tape on the plastics to avoid it if it hasn't happened yet. Unless the stock plastics dont have that problem.
If it holds up though, i feel it was worth the money since you get the jets and polished airbox too.

Randy made those end caps for me for more flow on the 440. With those caps, there is no spark arrestor and it is around 99 DB (at least). But the cool thing is I can put on the standard disc spark arrestors and quiet it down to legal levels. The flow is huge on the pipes the way they are. I had the carb tuned for the highest flowing Yoshi pipe there was, and it still wasn't nearly enough for the new pipes. The only thing I'm getting next for the 440 is the big oil tank with cooler.

My decision now is between HMF, DMC Alien, and LTE. It's a hard decision. Thanks for everybody's advice. If you have more fill free to give it.
