Call it a "mini snorkel" It's like a snorkel but not as tall, it's mainly for performance. I didn't want to drill holes in the air box and crap only because I want it to stay nice and clean in there, so I put in a better-flowing intake tube that is now sucking in cold air instead of hot air from the top of the engine. My intake tube will come out in front of the seat, out of the plastic.

I may consider doing an airbox mod, but am still deciding.
