I have a 2002 400ex with a complete Big Gun exhaust system. The problem is my neighbors and farmers around where I ride complain because it is TOO loud. I like the performance of the machine but was wondering what i could do to quiter her up.

I have been having the same problem with my RCM megaphone exhaust and rather than buying a hole new exaust system,I put on the spark arrester and it made it a little quiter, but it was still really loud,so I bought 2 packs of fmf 4 stroke pipe pacin stuffed a new one in the silencer and suck another full one right behind the spark arrester my friend has a 400ex with a fmf powercore and mine is quiter now than his.

There is a quiet series big gun exhaust but I am not sure if that is a whole different muffler or just a different core. If it is just a different core, you should be able to by the quiet core.
