420ex, i love your quad, it looks awsome mabye you could send me some pictures. how much did it cost?

 

thanks, i just got the engine running today but i need a clutch nut which will be in on tuesday so all i can do right now is sit on it and rev the engine-better than nothing. i'll have some more pics tuesday or wednesday which i will put on my pictures page, as for the cost:
-running beat up quad: $1300
-about $900 or more worth of engine/transmission work and parts
-plastics and lights $400
-chain/sprockets $120
-handlebars $95
-stainless steel bolt kit $55
-air scoops $45
-brakes $50
-tail light $30
-misc (grips, replacement parts, bearings, etc...) $500

 

I think the same, i've owned yamaha and honda's, both great quads, the controversy over which is better streches a little too far some times. I am presently looking and the 400ex and the Raptor. heard good things about both. later,

Are you kidding, arguing about a quad that isn't even out yet, this is great. I hope they run side by side. The this argument can go on forever. Like it wouldn't anyway.
Are you sure the air preasure in the Honda's tires was the same as the preasure in the Yamaha. That could throw the number off.

 

i saw it too. the girl that did that is a member of these forums...sorry, i forgot her call sign.
does anyone else remeber it? i think she even had the pic of the 400ex/raptor breed in her pics section and told people how she did it.... amazing girl!
