I have a month old 300ex that I want to put a Supertrapp exhaust on. Will this void my warranty? One guy that worked at a dealer said if would void the warranty where he worked but it seems as though it would. So will it?
thanks

I didnt think that a new exhaust would void the warrenty if it was installed by your dealer, but I could be wrong. Thats just the way my warrenty is worded, but it could be different for you

I put a LRD pipe on and jetted the carb from brand new, Then the motor blew a main cage bearing three months later. Took the quad back to the dealer with mods and all was covered under waranty no problem.

Note- Dealer did want first service + oil change reciets.

It is a law that any mod you put on your bike (except engine work) that the warrenty must be honored unles they give you replacement parts for free

So you are saying that I can put on the pipe and it will still be under warranty? Im going to ask the dealer tomorrow just ot make sure but I thought I might could bring some extra cash to buy it if it would still be under warranty.
thanks

According to our Honda Mechanic: it will void your warranty.

It all comes down to how well of a working relationship you have with the guys in the shop. If you are good frinds with them then it probably will not void the warranty on the other had if they are buy the book type of guys plan on having problems with any type of warranty claim.
