ITS FINALLY DONE!!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!

i really cant afford to make it louder maybe 4 db's, now if theres pipe that produces good bottom end power, isn't any longer than the stock pipe so i dont destroy it when the back end crashes down on the grab bar and is under $200 i would like to know about it, as for the total i spent on the quad:
running beat up 400ex -$1300
plastic and lights -$400
engine machining and parts -$900
chain/sprockets $120
handlebars $95
bumper $70
k&n filter + jet kit $80
prolly $300 more worth of odds-n-ends parts
im running an 11:1 piston

I would look for a White Bros E-seies slip on exhaust from ebay or something. You will still be legal, But you'll see more performance. Possibly on low end. If you don't notice a improvement on bottom end. Drop a tooth on your sprocket in the front "That is if you have stock gearing".

420, i meant the piston company, not the compression, weisco has seen some problems with piston to deck clearences with the 89mm piston giving inacurate comprssion readings. I found out the hard way, my supposedly 11:1 is closer to 10 or less.

unfortunately i bought a wiseco piston, are they really that bad?? now as for the E-series pipes: i have heard they are poorly built and often fall apart, also they stick out too far so i dont think im gonna go with the e-series, but i might consider the HMF pipe if its only 91 db's, do they stick out any farther than the stock pipe?

The hmf doesnt stick out farther than the grab bar. I have put mine on its end plenty of times with no damage, But, they are loud. I run the quiet core and there is NO WAY it meets the 91 db claim.
