Default A cr500r

Alright i wanna know what u people think about a 1986 honda cr 500r is there any common problems i should be aware of Anything in general ? and how much do u think its worth. Thanks

depending on what kind of shape its in, if its in perfect shape i'd say probly about 1800-2200 at the most just because of the age. And im not for sure about that year but ive heard becouse they are suck a big bore motor the top end doesnt last to long before it blows. but im not for sure thats just what ive heard. i think they have way to muck power for only going aroung 65mph

k thanks but im not going to buy it anymore the guy wants a 4wheeler for the dirtbike and i was giveing him some $ and an atc oh well

Being a big bore has nothing to do with the life expectancy of a motor. If anything it would increase the top end life because of its lack of rpm. 86's make the most power of any cr from what ive been told and what ive seen.
