How does the 300ex do in everything? Like Wheelies, Jumps, Mud, Water, Ice, Racing, Woods, Trails, Sand, Reliability, and Keeping up with a Warrior? Thanxs for all the input!

This is one of my fav bikes to screw around on. they handle and ride good. trails are where it is at home. dont know about ice. wheelies ok. water ok - though a warrior would always (and any yamaha we ever had) would always go thru deeper stuff easier. Mud - dont really know since i dont ride alot of mud but seems it will go thru some things ok, but it wasnt designed to be a mud dog. keeping up with a warrior - no problem. i have seen many 300ex BEAT warriors especially an a track. and dont get me started on the older 250X's...IMO they were even faster. reliabilty is excellent. we never had any probs with them or the older 250X.

But i did read an article in a mag about a rental company having some issues with the reliabilty of the 300ex, but with all things considered - they rent to people that are stupid and wreck and abuse them constantly.

The 300EX is one of the all time best machines made for reliability and handling. With good tires it will do anything you need. Excellent machine
