105 hp? and my banshee has valves

My banshee has valves, power valves that is.. Well i dont have them now but i will so i can get in the 105hp club....

 

I might seem like an idiot to ask this, maybe ill edit it once someone replies to it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] but what exactly is powervalves, i have never really thought much about them, so can someone give me the lowdown?

 

If you did not know this all ready the banshees's engine came right off the RZ-350 street bike minus the power valves, From what i under stand its the design of the reed box and intake port... I might be wrong someone correct me if i am...

a powervalve is a mechanical guilettine that raises and lowers in the exhaust port to change exhaust duration's at certain rpm's. PV's can either be mechanical or electronic.

I heard of a quad that frequented Olds hill and the other drag strips in Glamis that was a Banshee lengthened and highly modified frame sporting a 1300cc bore to max the triple cylinder 2 stroke Polaris sled motor, running alcohol/methanol turbocharged making over 350hp to the rear wheels dynoed!!!!!!!!!! Don't know if thats true, I think I ever read it in an old edition of DirtWheels one time!!! I know some of the trip cylinder motors come can do 150mph stock!!! and tahts some under 900cc if I'm not mistaken!! So to say a fully modified 3 cylinder 1300+cc 2 stroke "TURBOCHARGED" does seem possible!!! I'd love to ride it lol!!!!
