hey the thing all of you are forgetting is that it really doesent matter what bike your on you all know it. Its all about the rider all the brands make a good bike for the purpose that they are built. There is alot of bs going on in here dont sling it bring it show us that your the best and that your qua is better because the track I race at there are alot of different models that do well and the breands that compete are honda, kawasaki, suzuki, and yamaha. You really cant go wrong with a yfz or a 400ex or a 450r, or a 250r or a z400 or a kfx 400 you all know they are all great, you cant tell me that they are not all great machines you may perfer 1 over the otehr but they are all great. including the banshee wich is my least favorite but still a great machine.

I will be glad to bring it on any of my 3 mx bikes!!! LOL!!! True, most people on here talk about one quad being better than the other!!! I race all YZF motocross bikes, but I am sure I could do very well on the honda as well!!! After all, Carmicheal, Chad Reed, Bubba Stewart, Doug Gust, Tim Farr, they can win on make or brand set up for their style of riding!!!!

 

tellico im sure you would beat most people here expecially since you have three race yfz well 2 and 1/2 since one says weekend bike lol. My point is that like you said it the rider not the bike I feel I do well on my z in the b class its heavally modified with suspension and motor but im not going around saying its the bike to own its just the bike I choose, hell maybe next year it will be a yfz of a 450r, but I still dont think when they are all modified taht the bike will make the differance its goning to be can I ride better? I cant justify selling mine and getting a yfz450 when I would have to buy the bike then hop up the motor then get a new suspension. It wont make the big of a differance that its worth the loss in money. the performance differances between them is not as drastic as some might say(im saying modified to modified so hot shots dont flame me). I have riddent them all except the 450r on the track and they are all good I also sell all 4 lines at the dealership I work at, just so you all know my oppenions are not biast.

 

..... I just ride to have fun, I admit I'm not the fastest or fanciest thing ever out there- I just ride what I can afford and I'm happy.........

I have had fun chillin, and stirrin da ol proverbial pot in here as well!! Although I will probably never meet any one in here we are all brothers so to speak because of our love to go FASSSSTT!!
On another note however, I will be the first to admit that an off the shelf Shee if a piece of $hit!! I will admit that there are alot more sweeter bikes that are off the shelf!! I am in the process of re-doing mine, just dropped 3G into the motor, and am in the process of dropping off another 3 or so into the shocks and crap!! Then it will be a contender with everyone else!! After 12G!! Why?? Because I am a 2-stroke/SPEED junkie.... I want to be different..... After 12K, I hope that it performs up to my expectations..... If not, I will drop off some more.... Shoulda stayed single and it (the modifying process)would be a lot faster!!! LOL......
I guess perhaps I coulda drunk too much eggnog (spiked) but I only desire for my fellow american ATV riding buddies to have a safe and happy holiday over the course of the holiday season!!
