we've hd an 87 250x since about 1989 or so...they're cool machines and was and still is the perfect size for me...those things can turn on a time and are very predictable and smooth...

didnt the first 300ex's come ith the e-start and some w/ kick or both or something?

can any of you guys wheelie thos 250x's i just cant do it, it seems like it doesnt have a balance point, its too low or its on the grab bar

yeah - just make sure you have good traction first of all...then hold on the clutch..and pump the trottle a few times so it revs a bit and you get better throttle response.....then let go of that clutch and give it some gas...it should come right now...just make sure you rev it enough to the point where when it comes up tht you have good throttle response so you can play with it and has the power to keep the front end up...hope this helps

ive heard that the 300ex has a bigger bore and the 250X has a bigger carb and no rev limiter?

Actually, the bore is the same, the stroke is longer on the 300ex.
