With all this new hype about maybe a new Honda, the one to compete with the other new sport quads....what will happen to the 400 ex. I want to buy this quad next year reguardless of whatever else is out there. Will the price go down at all??? Give your opinions.....

If they are still in demand which I imagine they will be, The price will go up ! They will blame it on inflation .

 

Honda is too reserved to replace the 400EX, especially now that we know the 2001 model will be offered in yellow. According to Honda's web site the 2001 model will have the same list price as the 2000 400EX.

 

The 300EX still sells extremely well. I believe they still get about list for all the 300EX's they can get in... I don't see any differences.

The LT500 didn't hurt TRX or LT 250R sales way back when, either. Just another choice.....

 

Saw one of the Yellow 440ex's this weekend... AWSOME! We are going to put all new plastic on our OLD Y2K 400ex. LOL

It seems like we are just starting into manufacturer wars and the 400ex could very well be replaced as the top Honda performance quad in a couple of years .
