I think the 250ex would win, but I am not sure. The 200sx seems like a pretty quick bike so I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with a race between a 200sx and a 250ex...

 

what is a 200sx is that a dirt bike?

 

if its a dirt bike then i would have to say the 200sx would win because of the lighter weight.

 

isn't the 200sx more of a utility Quad. if it is what i think it is then I would say the 250ex would win.

 

i thin kthe 250ex would win because the 200sx is a 20cc four stroke and i think is the heavier of the two

 

they are about the same if not the 250 is just a little bit faster

 

my friend has an '86 200sx. we were riding one day and decided to drag about 600ft. ive got a recon es which has the 250ex motor and he won i had him up untill 4th gear and he slowly started to pull away

 

My friend has an '86 200sx as well and I remember him and I would race beside each other. He doesn't drive it anymore though becuase he has a 400ex now. I drove my '86 Honda fourtrax 250 and we were pretty much side by side. We were pretty much equal on straights but once we had to climb hills, I was ahead of him. He just did not have enough power to climb hills in a higher gear.

 

yea the recon(250ex) are putting out enough to pull through stuff like that but the 200sx isnt a really powerful machine although they can do some serious shiz

 

Own'd a 200sx and now own a Recon. And anyone who knows anything about Hondas, knows that the Recon is the utlilty version of the 250EX. Absolutely no competition, my Recon will own a 200sx. That is. considering both riders are compentant to ride both machines at their potential.
