Are the 450R's at dealers?
 

I heard they won't be out until Feb., but I saw this in another forum. This is from a guy in Mass.


My brother just picked up the new honda 450r today. The dealer told us last week that it would not be in until the the 4th of jan. at the least but they called today and said
its in and ready to be picked up we were the third ones to get the new quad we just puted around the yard and it feels awesome kicking it over was not bad at all and it started right up not like my cold bloded pig of a 440ex is to start. He is still at his house breaking it in.I cant wait to get on it and rip it up

So looking at this thread, it sounds like his dealer got at least 3 of them.

I didn't think they were arriving yet, but someone on another forum also talked about seeing one on the back of a truck as he was going home from work...so maybe they have arrived?

in one of the forums it said that dirtwheels tested it in the feb. issue and they usally get a quad at the same time as everybody else can get it. keep us posted on how well it performs.

I just posted a thread on EXRIDERS that a Honda dealer near me (in NH) just told me today that the very latest word they just received from Honda is that they are to expect their 1st TRX450R within this week, and then several more by the end of Jan.

Can anyone else confirm this at their dealers?

I Put a deposit down on mine about 2-Weeks after HRC released the news i am 2nd on the list to receive it but my dealer said it would be the middle of january before i received it and that was just monday when i talked to him. But i am excited i want it now dammit.

I talked to the local honda dealer last weekend, and they said the end of Jan. They gave some reason that something from one of honda's suppliers (that goes on the bike???) did not make it?? Sounded like a good excuse..

Right....thats what 2 dealers near me told me about a week or so ago. But this latest news is from a dealer that I spoke to yesterday, face to face...and he said this is the very latest he heard from his Honda rep.

Oh well, bad timing I guess, everyone's closed for the new years, and no one can confirm for me with their dealer until tomorrow.

I hope this guy wasnt talking out of his arse, and really did know what he was telling me. Again, he said he (NOW) expects the 1st 450R to arrive within this coming week, and then additional ones late Jan.

We'll see. Ask your dealers tomorrow and either confirm what this guy said, or disprove him.

My dealer called me today and said that he is getting 10 450r's and that the first one will be here tomorrow (the 2nd) and guess who its for............ [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
