this guys has a 300ex with a 340 stroker kit big gun full exhaust, jet kit, and a k&n filter, and my freind has a 400ex with nothing but a k&n filter and they are going to drag race today, who do you think will win, cuz there is probly gonna be money involved

 

Depends on the 340 kit i would think. How long of a race is it, or what type? Does he have his sprockets or anything changed.

 

i think it will be very close but the 300ex might just about win deepending on the distance

Why would you think a 340 cc big bore kit would even come close to a stock 400cc quad? 400ex will win.

I have a 300ex, so obviously this is a valid opinion, 400ex will win if riders are even close to even........

 

if the 340 is ported and has head mods I would bet on it. If it doesn't have in changes in gearing though the 400ex would have a higher top speed and would beat it in a long drag. If it is just stroked out to a 340 though the 400 would win pretty easily.

 

he should win but not top end. acceleration he should have it.im gettinga port and polish job done here soon
