Default what oil??

hey guys.. its kinda cold here.. what oil do you suggest? can i just put 10-40 in her or should i use the good stuff.. ie, maxim, bel ray etc.. and what is your guys opinions on synthetic, syn blend etc.. thx

first it would be good if you told us what kinda quad you drove. is it the 250x?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

5W20 is better for the cold weather...

Oil viscosity DOES make a difference! I did a mountain ride early in the winter, when I still had summer 20W-50 oil in the Rancher. Boy did I notice it! The thick oil really made the engine work hard in the cold.
