i have a 200 400EX. i need to install a new cam chain. i have the repair manuel for my quad, but it doesn't tell how to replace the chain. does it come on and off like a normal bicycle/motorcycle chain? do i need special tools? if anybody could describe how to do this with as much detail as possible i would be very grateful. thank you very much.

 

for removing the cam chain you need to take out the clutch. you can take it off of the cam in the top end of the motor. the manual should show you everything you need to know. you will need allen wrenches, lock tite, wrenches, sockets, torque wrench, a new right side case gasket, skrewdrivers, etc.
