I'm 99.9% sure nothing from the 400ex will fit the new 450r. They have to make up for years of being behind.(no offense, I mean it.)

If the Bumper and nerfs will work then why does everyone show a different part number for the 400 and the 450

Dude you need to seriously think about what you are trying to do or say.

WTF do you think you will accomplish by making stupid comments like "They have to make up for years of being behind" besides pissin people off and making it look like you didnt think before posting etc?

Your post was on track till you let that little part of your brain take charge and screw it up.

Not only is this statement antagonistic and insulting to the intelegence of many but its completely wrong. In any form of racing except for a very few straight line types the one you claim to have been behind has filled podiums at most every event.

Now I am not biased to brand or brand loyal and happen to have both Honda's and Yami's currently and there both fine machines but history is history and the Honda's have been beyond dominant in GNC, GNCC, local MX and XC races for years and this is something that neither you or me can change.

So please think before you post as its getting tireing to have to ignore these rediculous statements.

****************

Honda is making claims that very little will swap from machine to machine etc and I suspect much of this is true from looking at the 450R but also it looks like many will be close if not a perfect fit.

Looks like you can forget about a-arms and swing arms but that is still hard to tell till you can actually get one etc (unless your one of the preferred aftermarket companies that had one months ago to measure up and bolt on some things etc) but the typical things like Bars, tires, grips and others look like they should work no problem.

Cant wait till some get into the hands of everyday riders so we can get past all this WHAT IF stuff.

Handlebars, wheels, and chain. That's all I heard that will fit.

As for the part numbers being diff on the bumpers, the 450R has an aluminum bumper, so it could bolt the same, but be different.
I will bet that rear axles will work.
