What is the top speed on a 04 rancher es 4x4?

 

Its the standard design limit standard for all of hondas ulility quads besides the rincon.

 

83 kmh 84 down a really steem hill!

 

i would say maby 50-65?

I've had my 04 rancher es 4x4 up to 54 going down a flat dirt road. My bike is completely stock. Nice to know it has the speed, but it's alot more fun in the mud.

 

50 mph on a vehicle with a 50" wheelbase is plenty fast.

 

The 4X4 has a reduction gear, that makes it somewhat slower than the 2X4. I would say in the neighborhood of 50+ mph. That is fast enough for the bikes limited suspension!

 

It goes plenty fast enough from the factory! You have to consider that a 4X4 is not meant to be a sport quad! If speed is what you are looking for the Rancher shouldn't be your first choice! I traded my Raptor for a Rancher because someone else was looking for a sporty quad. The Rancher is made for what it was made to be.........a utility quad!
Like what reconranger said...the limited suspension should keep you to a reasonable speed.
