a guy in my town is selling a 400 ex with a yoshy slip on fmf power bomb header, nerfs, white rev box, plasma ignition, hotcam, stage 2 jets, twist throtle, 4 new razer tires. he asking 7000 canadian what do you guys thing this is worth. in usd since most f you guys are from the states.

 

hey i have a 2001ex it came with renthals nerf bars ac front bumper and ac swingarm skidplate ite dual pipes jet ket air filter and air box mods with 2 new rear razars i got it for 2000 canadian but the only reson i got it that cheap because it was my friend and he got cought by the cops on it and it had a 1500 dollar impound fee so he only made 500 of this bike and the day after i bought it i got offered 5000 for it i would say its worth around 5000 but i just love it i drove banshees raptors yfz and mine will keep up with raptors and banshees but handles and wheelies alot better u should be able to find a nick 400ex for around 5000 i wouldent pay any more than thay for a used one

 

That sounds high to me - not sure about the Canadian market - but I would agree that $5000 Canadian should be top dollar.

2000 and 2001 models seem to be running as low as $2800-$3800 US - depending on condition and mods. Just because a bike has $1000 in mods on it doesn't make it worth a $1000 more in my opinion, the seller should expect to lose money on investment in mods. Unless of course there is something particularly special or custom about the bike.
