Hey guys as most of you know i have been saving up for an 03 250ex for $3,000 well i have found a used 400ex 2000 model for exactly the same price and the 400ex has a maxxis exhaust, nerfbars and front bumper. but if i get it i will have to travel to Pennsylvania (Sp.?) to get it and i live all the way down in Mobile, Alabama. i want to know if i should get this quad are i should stay on the track im on now and get the 250ex thanks for any advise you might have.

then I would say keep saving and get the 400. you will out grow the 250ex fast. seems like the price of the 400 is dropping fast and if you keep looking I bet you could find a nice one that is a little closer. thats a long way to go for one.

 

man i know its a very long way to go. but i think they keep droping becasue the new 450r and the yfz450 are becoming so popular. but so you think i should go head and get a 400 but try to find one closer? ok. if you dont mind keep your eyes out for one for me i would apreciate it. thanks for your help

 

You shouldn't have trouble finding a 00 or 01 400ex for $3000 or so. I'd go with the 400 over the 250 - like sickmojave said, you'll probably get bored with the 250 really quick. I wouldn't drive that far for one unless they were practically giving it away or there was something really special about it.

for real, don't even have it shipped. you can find a better one closer to you for about $2500. getta 400ex, there sweet. maxxis pipe? neva heard of one?

 

hey im 14 6 foot 1 and like 165 i have a 400ex and i LOVE it. yeah i think your way to big for it right now. there nothing worse then buying a quad and not being happy with it from the start.

 

ok i im going to take yalls advise and try and find one closer (alost closer lol). $2,500!? wow i had know idea you could get them that low! and just for yalls FYI im not going to get anything older than an 2000 model.
