Whats the top end speed of the 400ex

 

clocked one on GPS doing 69 with t4 exhuast

 

mine stock with 14 tooth front runs at an even 71

 

can u fit a 15 on the front
i tried on mine and it would not fit

 

about 68

My buddies ran 69 through a work zone, completely wound out.

 

i thought that the 400ex went 66 mph but 69 wound out souds right

 

mojavejack: i find it curious that your stock ex will go faster with a smaller front sprocket.. seeing as though the stock sprocket is 15, and with a 14.. top speeds on a stock machine should be in the 60-62 range
My bs meter is off the charts..

 

how much of a top speed difference does stepping up one tooth in the front make?
