Mojave vs. 300ex

This kid I know is talking alot of trash saying his 89 Mojave (stock) can beat my friends new 00' 300ex (moded).. What is up with this?? I think the 300ex would kick that things a** what do all of you think??????

i'll tell ya what i think.....
It all depends on the rider, no matter what quad. if both riders are at the same level then the race will depend on the quad's power. I tied my friend who is new to atv's on his 300ex with a bayou 220 that my neighbor has!! this was a short drag tho, about 50 yards. and this wasn't the first day my friend got his 300ex, about the third week or so, hehe, just thought i'd share that.
ohh yeah, in the hicktown that i live in, i have alot of people telling me that their quadrunners, 300 4x4's, blasters, 300ex's, and even xr80's (haha) can beat my 400 in a drag. hahaha, I just tell them, "yeah maybe, i'm still learning
" then when they come over to drag, or i see them on some local trails... they eat my dust. exept for this dude on a modded banshee, he beats me, later

I've ridden both quads all day. There is no comparison. The 300 is clearly superior in every aspect of riding. My old '91 250X STOCK would smoke the Mojave (STOCK). I don't care about rider in a drag race, the 300EX would win everytime. Have the Mojave rider try to run wide open in to some whoops and see if the back end doesn't come around him. This is a no-contest.

actaully in deep whoops the 300ex does swap.I know I totalled one from it swapping so bad thta ti jjust rolled and rolled.It had 2200 in damage.I rode my cousins mojave the other day when my 250r rain out of gas in the rain.And I was kinda inmpressed it sits lower than the ex and I like that.But I could barely get the front end up to wheelie.My 300ex U just gun it the front wheels are in the air and shift.But the mojave felt kinda front end heavy.That is just my .02cents www.angelfire.com/me3/fmf86trx250rTHere is a pic 0of me wheelieing the ex on my site.
