I was curious what atv was in your garage.
What made you decide on a honda, and not polaris? Im sure you didnt do alot of thinking about where it was made, but rather more practical issues.
What were the deciding factors?

actually , I have both
polaris trailboss, and a rancher ES
there are things I like on the polaris and things I like on the rancher. I like riding both. I like the auto trans or should I say centrifical belt driven clutch, but some times it is fun to shift around and let it rev.

factors were ease of use for my wife polaris wins,
cost , pretty close i got the polaris at a very good price the guy who sold it needed to sell and chash does magic.
polaris has better tires stock, also got adjustable shock/spring preload, longer travel.
the rancher is a good value for the money, digital dash and all, shaft drive is nice. hate the reverse procedure.
I did not wanted 2 of the same bike,
I had a rubicon before the rancher and it was overkill for me.

but you are right on ATVs, and dirtbikes there is not much choice, the japs hands down rule the market.
