Did anyone get instructions and stickers with your AC nerf bars. I ordered mine from Moto Man and when I receaved them the box looked like it was opened and taped back up. Bars, nets, and hardware is all there. But no instruction or stickers. The problem i'm runing into is the space between the bars and the peg once the front mount is bolted up. A 1/4 inch spacer is provide, but I have like A 1/2 inch gap. Is this normal,if so should I just tighten it up until it fits tight with the spacer? If anyone has instructions and would scan and E-mail them to me would be great. dmh1605@aol.com. Moto Man and AC Racing are both closed for the holiday and I'm wanting to get the bars on but not tear them up in the prosses.

Thanks,
Mark

I did get stickers, but no instructions! Took me a little while to put those damn things on! As the spacers go? I'm really not sure, I would have to take a look and get back to you!! Did you get the pro-pegs or the standard nerfs??

It sounds as though you have the nerfs that bolt to the stock footpegs. I have heard from many people that some AC's do not fit very well, but if you could I would try to bend the front bar just enough to get the bolts through the spacers and the footpegs and then just tighten them down. If you make thicker spacers it will make it difficult to shift because you will be in a way making the footpeg thicker and you will have a hard time getting the tip of your foot down far enough to upshift. I seen a guy on a warrior make thicker spacers and he was always complaining about missing upshifts???? Hope this helps.

How do you like your ITP wheels?? Are they very tough? What kind of riding do you do? I was thinking of getting some, but I hope ITP .190 are as strong as Douglas .190's

i have graydon nerfs and mine i had to drill 2 holes in the footpegs and they bolt there. Im happy with mine. sounds like the AC nerfs are mounted different. Good luck with your "quest".

Thanks for the replys. They bolt to the front of the foot peg. All i had to do is give them a little bend and they bolted right up. No problem.
Thank again
