What do you guys think. Put about 2,200.00+ into the 400ex, or buy a truck? There is always one of my parents or brother's vehicles at my house that i can drive. I'm only 16. But I made a list of parts I would buy if that's what i do...here they go.

My 2 cents..... if I had $2200 laying around I wouldn't put it all in my EX, I'd probably trade it and the cash towards a 450R or something. Just seems like a lot to put into it especially considering the only performance mod you list is the dual exhaust. If you want to pour some money into it I'd say go for a cam, high comp piston, etc. that'll get you more horseys. For less than a grand you could build the motor up really sweet.

I don't want a 450R. I'll buy a Z-400 before I buy a 450R can i put in a cam if the rest of the engine is stock. No boreing, or head shaving???

What are you using the truck for? If its for work, then buy the truck and then save up the parts for the quad - you'll have both before long!

 

Get your own truck and learn to stop depending on others, you can get ATV parts later.

 

Dependant on others...HAHA good one. Since i pay for my own clothes, I am paying for my four wheeler and it's insurance. My parents don't help me out financially at all. And give me a break i've only had my license since Nov 24.

 

Just a daily driver to get to and from school, and to work in the summer.

 

I'd buy a truck!

I went out and spent 5800 on a new Raptor this month, and I also bought a "new to me" truck. Kinda wish I would have bought a cheaper quad, and a nicer truck.

 

If you already have a nice quad then you should buy you a nice truck to haul it around with, so that way you can be happy both when your riding and when you not. just my 2 cents
