Honda needs to do something!

From Quads to cars they are supierior. They should get in the mix and either make some perfomance parts for the 250ex, drop the 300ex and I think the 400ex is fine and make a nasty big bore machine with race applications.

keep 250 the same...
drop the 300 (or if not drop redo it.)
put reverse on the 400
come out with a 650 that kicks the $h!t outta everything...
realease another high proformance quad in two years to replace 450r
drop 400
redo 450r to make it with starter reverse....hahah...
get my point...
it doesnt matta though...honda always seems to take theyre time!

personly ive nothing against honda yamaha or anyone else but i must say i think its disapointing that nobody has taken the initiative to make a mass produced ATV in an aluminium or titanium frame and get the weight right right down,
I truly belive that the first majour manufacturer who does it will totaly dominate the atv scene,
the days off big hp stock motors are over power to weight is where the fight will be at,

ukzilla...the one bad thing bout aluminum is that if somthing happens to it it costs so much more to rebuild...
and not to mention prolley alot less reliable on trails with things jamming the bottom...

Honda is behind and does not seem to care.
I do not think a aluminum frame for the masses is a good idea. Some people beat the living crap out of there quads. lol and quad owners seem to keep there rides longer than the motorcycle crowd.

thats a real good point but if they put the effort in im sure someone could deliver the goods reliably,
im prety new to the atv scene but i would have to agree what i know of the history and development in general honda seem to be satisfied to trade on there reputaition, maybee they realy know the market, or maybee they just underestimated yamahas ability to deliver the goods, yamaha seem to be able to pull something good out of the hat right across there range,
do you know anyone into sports bikes who doesnt rate the R1 or R6?? even the mockup of an R1 quad in dirtwheels is more than tempting, 176hp anyone,
in all fairness i think wichever way things go theres a long road to be traveled before things settle down and anyone brings a dominating machine to the market,

I personally think reverse is for old guys and women or utility quads. If you can't muscle around a 400ex then you not strong enough to ride one. It's just uneed weight. I belive honda feels the same way. There smart never under estimate the best.
