Tommorrow I will be doing some trailriding with a guy who bought a 450r and he said it got pretty crappy mileage on his first tank. I figure it was just the breakin mileage. Have any of you new owners done a mileage check and what were the figures. I would like to know if I will have to take extra fuel with us. Besides that would be really embarrasing for him if we had to tow him . I hope it gets at least 50 miles per tank.

 

I rode my new 450R @ the Kermit Sand Dunes this past Friday & Saturday. I seemed to get just as good mileage as the YFZ & 400EX. Which means I had to stop periodically and drain some gas out to keep it from running over. I think it got better than the YFZ. I also has the power up kit installed.
