this is what Mikey Dunlap said about the LTE system
I have tested the LTE system on our 470cc YFZ with quiet cores against our full race pipe and there was a slite gain in the mid range but it was alot quieter. With the new sound laws just around the corner their system may be the hot set up.

makes alot of sence to me that the 2 pipes would just work alot better

you would have to rejet when you installed the kit. with this kit you would have to install the new air box then move the battery(it fits inside the air box) so there is alot more work than just installing a pipe and rejetting.

I'm not sure how it works with quads..but I know with most cars..it is actually better to have ONE larger pipe than two the stock size. so one 3 in pipe is better than two 2 1/4 or 2 1/2
My guess is a single exhaust will flow just as much as the duals and make more power where you need it
