It bouces around a little bit more with the racks of but nothing major, as long as the bottom brackets are attached they stay in place pretty good.

 

Don't try race those in the Baja? I thought I saw something on that. I took me by surprize that you would race one at Baja but I'm sure try did.

Not sure about DirtWheels but he is a project recon that ATV news did Redone Recon

 

I don't think anyone should be deterred from racing if that is their interest. You just need to find out where and which races your specific quad would do well in. Even if a person doesn't win a race, they'll gain the experience of racing. The ATV News project covers just about everything. There just aren't many add-ons for the Recon.

I read the redone recon article. Is the top speed correct? I thought my 250ex did 50mph. Guess I better get out the gps and check it. Mine is stock.

 

i think it would look better if they only removed the rear rack
